The prices are very reasonable, especially considering its central location in the heart of the city. The staff are attentive and provide excellent service. The basic amenities in the rooms are just what you need for a comfortable stay.
There's nothing that needs improving here, everything was just fine.

As this was my first time staying in a hotel in Florianopolis I was a a bit apprehensive as I speak little Portuguese. I found the staff at Valerim to be very helpful and courteous. Although there was a language barrier the staff did their very best to help us in doing so encouraged me to practice what little portuguese I already knew in turn helping me learn new words and phrases. The dining facilitles on the 12 floor were great boasting panoramic views of the bay. The onsite bar was nice with great live music. I will definately consider staying at the Valerim center on my next visit to Floripa.

Nice double rooms, good breakfast in upper floor (nice view), good location, very close to bus stations, great bus connection to every part of island (especially beaches)
big language barrier (noone from reception clerks speaks english, hard to solve any problems), They wanted to charged us with different price like agreed in Booked.net, Some of stuff not polite (we solved problem and one of the receptionist went for 45 min to have coffe)

Great location in the heart of the city centre with convenient transportation options. Clean room and hotel facilities. Adequate parking available in the garage. Helpful and friendly staff.
Can't think of anything.

The employees were very friendly and helpfull.
The entrance of the hotel looked like a youthhostel. The room was too basic and smelled bad. Definitely not a 2-star hotel.

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering its prime location right in the city center. The staff is extremely attentive and goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. The basic amenities in the rooms are sufficient for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the breakfast, although simple, is quite tasty.
No major issues observed, everything was satisfactory.

Breakfast. Staff was generally friendly and helpful, particularly the lady at breakfast. Spacious room.
Only one lift working. Private toilet stuff was used, mingled with.

I liked the fact that it was very centrally located, and also very affordable. It was on a main street and I got a fair sized double room. The staff were always very helpful and the breakfast was huge and very good.
The toilet in my room would not flush properly. When I enquired about a security deposit box I was told there was a safe at reception but only the manager had the key and he wouldn´t be there until the next day. Also the door to my room was pretty thin and I heard rather a lot of noise from the corridor. Overall I feel it was a bit of a bargain though as it was very reasonably priced.

I had a great stay at this hotel in Florianopolis. the location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city center. It made it so easy for me to explore and experience everything the city has to offer. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed and provided some valuable advice on things to do in the area. Lastly, I was pleasantly surprised by the good value for money. Considering the prices in other hotels, this hotel provided basic amenities and a tasty breakfast without breaking the bank.
My experience at this hotel was perfect – nothing to complain about.

Very close to the bus station and centre of the city.
The building feels very old, as if it hasn't been renovated for a long-time. It felt like staying in a converted office-block if I'm being honest and given that there seems to be a disused one just a cross the road it wouldn't surprise me if it was. The adjoining bar, which doubles as the breakfast room, also charged a R$14 cover - before we'd even had a drink or paid 10% for service.

Great location in city centre, right on main shopping street. TV had CNN, a rarity in South America. Staff is helpful and some speak English. Good breakfast with fresh fruit and friendly staff.
Nothing to dislike.

Located in the heart of the city, this budget-friendly hotel was perfect for our Christmas vacation. The staff was friendly and accommodating, providing us with maps and recommendations for nearby attractions. We particularly enjoyed the wide variety of breakfast options and free Wi-Fi access.
Our room was disappointing. It seemed as though the hotel hasn't been renovated in years and the furniture was old and uncomfortable. Moreover, the room lacked basic amenities such as a light lamp, a rug and a bin. The bathroom wasn't clean and the shower water pressure was terrible. our stay was just okay but we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

I had a great stay at this hotel and enjoyed the delicious breakfast with fresh fruits and real milk. The beds were also very comfortable and made for a good night's sleep. The location was also a plus as it was convenient for exploring the city.
